Production Methods

Art and Development

Using our large format digital sublimation plotter,
we can digitally print a prototype without the need
of screens or plates and have it cut with our
accurate single ply automatic Gerber automatic
cutter and finally assembled in our sewing room.

Sublimation Process

Custom team uniform sublimation, the newest, most technologically advanced athletic printing process, is the ultimate performance decoration method.

Your decoration adds no weight, it stretches with the fabric, and it never peels or fades. Sublimation also offers unlimited decoration capabilities without raising costs.

What does this mean to you?It means that your team can build a jersey with eight colors and 10 design locations without spending an extra cent on the garment

Embroidery Process

If your order calls for embroidery, it will be done on our computerized Barudan Swiss embroidery equipment. In addition to our wide variety of stock lettering fonts and athletic logos, Puffin Sports also processes our customers’ own embroidery designs.

We use only the finest threads, backings and other embroidery supplies, regardless of cost.

Before your order is completed, you can proof your embroidery designs via fax or email

Screen Printing

This process involves the application of a plastisol type of ink to a garment.

The garment and ink are then heated to a specific temperature at which time the ink solidifies and “bonds” to the fabric. The Pros and Cons of Screen Printing.
